Role Description
Our Medical Concierge acts as a liaison between our medical providers and patients by working directly with the provider to deliver high-quality, compassionate customer service and clinical care while ensuring all the needs of our patients are met.
Core Responsibilities
- Meet, greet, and assist patients promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner.
- Set up new patients and update current patients' information in Athena including all demographic and insurance information.
- Verify all insurance through Athena prior to appointment.
- Schedule and reschedule appointments, as well as coordinate any urgent visits.
- Send out appointment reminders.
- Answer phone calls and electronic messages promptly and relay messages as required.
- Process referrals and provide complete and accurate referral information to our patients.
- Explain services and billing policies.
- Assist patients with any technical issues and ensure patient can connect via video when required with physician.
- Act as a resource for the clinical team for any administrative issues.
- Respond to referral requests from other providers.
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications
- 1-2 years in any clinical environment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, required

Schedule: flexible
Location: Remote
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Benefits: Part time, full time (with benefits) or contractor positions available. All positions will initially start as contractor for minimum of 30 day trial period and then move to part time or full time if desired by candidate.
